The Violent Wind

Yesterday's weather can only be described as slightly violent. The wind made everything miserable. Not only were some of the roosters having differences...but these two hens also decided to tangle. Both hens have chicks right now...and that's when they can get extra protective...it's called 'motherly love'. Some of the most violent fights ever witnessed by me...were hens. I have found hens 'dead' after fighting...they came back to life in my hands because they were only in shock. Very spooky!
The Good News: No baby chicks were harmed...(very lucky)



'Protected'...safe, secure...and running out of room.
