Too Many Chicks?

Well, I can't believe that I finally have a chance to post a few pictures...and bring the news up to date. I think it started on Sunday with 11, then Tuesday 7 and 5, today there were 3 more...plus a fifth mother emerged from a hidden nest with 2 more...then she returned to the nest. I have those 2 in a box and are keeping them inside to stay warm. Tomorrow, she will bring out the rest of them and I will give her the two that I have inside. And, not only that but, there are two more broody hens. They are both due to hatch in less than a week. My calender is a mess. 'Tracking' each hens schedule was real confused this time. I was about 90% accurate. I've never had so many new babies at one time. The living accommodations are insufficient and I must build a few new structures. I will be busy the next few days. These are old pictures...BUT, the baby chicks in these pictures are all the same birds. From brand new---->to the day of their last walk with Mom. Yesterday, she said "Good-bye" and now, they are on their own. So, it's going to colorful...and hectic. Puro Giro!

Just think...26 new babies and more on the way...
I think it's officially Spring!!!
