Leap Year Is For Calendar Folk

For chickens and roosters, the only time is right now. There is no yesterday or tomorrow...and certainly no leap year...there isn't even 'today'. For these birds, there is nothing but the present tense! 
Now-O'clock. I wish I could do that. But, people always seem to be running from 'this moment'...allowing the past and the future to pull them away from clarity...ever farther from chicken consciousness. Too bad! It's pretty timeless and real feathery...
