Is he still a rooster?
Is he still Jet black?
His mother was named Indigo. She was killed before she started sitting on her eggs. So, luckly, another hen was willing to incubate them. Jet had two siblings...they only lived a couple of days. After deciding Jet was really a hen, we can now see for sure that he really is a rooster. He is still very fast. But, look at the colors...He's not completely black like he was. Anyway, he's the finest of the fine. And we feel lucky to have him. Go, Jet, go!!!
