The handsome show-off

This rooster really loves himself. That sounds like a whole lot of ego...
and, it is!
But, if you aren't the best in your own mind...then, you're not the best!
This rooster might just be the best no matter where he is...I doubt if he has had the courage to ask Tuffy about this matter and that doesn't even really matter either. They are all very beautiful in MY mind. That's the only one that really matters...right? Ego is just a symptom of something far greater...like being a rooster.

Monday afternoon shake-off

The Peppermint Twist was full of moves that resembled a blur of color. Well, Chubby Checker needs to move way over. This rooster can dance the ruffled feather like James Brown on hot coals. And, so...another Monday has come and gone...said goodbye, the setting sun!

Routines and the return to Monday

Nothing says 'routine' like another Monday. Ebb and flow...wax and wane. It just keep repeating again and again. But, we never know when things will suddenly change...and, suddenly the routine becomes like a long lost friend. Boring Mondays are something we take for granted. They seem like chores but they are just the last day of the weekend...

Jet Black? (not anymore)

Jet got his name because he was jet black when he hatched. He was completely black until about three weeks ago...he started getting white on his wingtips. That disappeared and he got some gold spots on his back but they were very small. Now the gold spots are much bigger and his neck is turning white/grey. His name will never change but we really don't know what he's going to look like...but we know it's going to be beautiful!!!

Yesterday and today

My cameras are causing more problems. I think I need a new flash card. So, until I can get another one, here's some old and some new. Until I get to the store, we might be using old pics. I'll keep trying...
