If I get through this post without losing the connection...I will probably faint. The service has been lousy...but, I have remained hopeful. I have been wanting to share the good news that I have. The injured raven has now been here two full weeks. He is looking so beautiful. His legs are healing slowly but they will never be completely corrected. He will be handicapped. It doesn't matter. I am his mother now. When he looks at me and holds his mouth open...he wants me to feed him. He is so smart. I think he is probably going to stay with us forever. The chickens like him. It's been a lot of emotional stress and strain. But, it's one of the greatest things I've ever done. I am so happy that this raven has come into my life. Evermore...Forevermore...
And, today we have another 11 new baby chicks...
They are all so adorable...
and, the coolest thing is that it only takes 21 days to turn an egg into these little fuzzy balls of love. The first thing they will learn is how to take a step without rolling over like an egg...
