Saturday's Child

This little one hatched this morning. The mother is still sitting on the rest of the eggs so I pulled him out to make sure he lives. A mother will neglect the new babies because she wants to keep the unhatched eggs warm. It gets ugly sometimes...but, not this time. Everything else is 'normal'.
