Today started perfectly...with roosters parading forth from their slumbers in an orderly fashion. I don't know how many roosters I have, but these are all different individuals. I got one picture of each. There are many that I didn't photograph because chickens create drama that always take priority over photography.
I'll count them one day...but, that will only confirm the obvious. My luck is the kind that brings more roosters than hens. The last two broods of chicks were both of four chicks each. One group of four is all roosters. The other group of four is 3 roosters, 1 hen.
I think I might be in for a long hot Winter...
