But, really now...every day is a new day
a rebirth...a brighter hope...another opportunity
The beginning...the end...the middle!
To be thankful and take every breath with gratitude
...and humility.
Now, if anybody asks "how's life?"
I don't need to tell them "it's taking forever"
I just flap my arms and say
"I need more feathers..."
