It seemed like you wanted to hurt me

"Knock, knock!"
"Who's there?"
"Boo"...
"Boo who?"
"Well, you don't have to cry about it...It's only me"

Anyway, there's no need to pretend. That might lead to hurt feelings. I would be crushed to find out that you were really trying to hurt me.
