Photography is a strange thing. You can think your an expert but you still can't control the stuff that matters most...like scenery. The sunrise is the best time to be a photographer AND the most heartbreaking time to be a photographer. This pink sky only last about three minutes. The chickens were all late to the session...So, I was able to experience the entire range of human emotion in about 6 1/2 minutes. It was not fun...and my sluggish camera just made it worse. I wonder if my own panic was causing some electrical disturbance for the camera and the chickens...I guess it's possible. I need everyone to see how nice things look when the day starts. Maybe non-union chickens can work the 'odd-hours' to accommodate the Sunrise...
