The Brothers Return

Not so long ago, I did some posts about these two brothers. They were never apart from each other...but they wouldn't stop fighting. I thought that they had grown out of it...but, they're back!
They still do everything together...
Ah, youth!

More Wind? (Weather is God)

Well, if I flew kites it might be different.
But, the problem is that my chickens aren't happy.
They are pretty easy to please...
but, this wind really ruffles their feathers.
Let it end...

The breaking point

Nasty weather is harsh to cope with. Sometimes it can make you insane without letting you realize it. It is in this context that the breaking point had been reached this morning. A couple of rooster fights erupted...almost concurrently. I was shocked to find one was a young rooster and a hen. I guess she wasn't interested in his kindness!
That's what the weather can do to the mind...
Thankfully, there were no injuries!

Two heads are better than one

This is sort of an illusion.
I didn't plan it...
These chickens just love to make me pay attention.
They are really funny...sometimes.

Righteous

Say it Loud...
Say it Proud!
Sometimes, it has to be about pride...
this is one of those times.
We have many things to be happy about.
Life has blessed us.
It feels like Heaven.
It feels like a dance.

Thawed Out

This cold weather is for the birds.
It's a little better than it was!
It's not great, but at least it's not freezing.
It has been dreadful. That means too cold to use a camera.
Some of my birds are sick. Many are barely able to endure the weather. I'm hoping that they will snap back into health.
At least the water isn't frozen anymore!
I got a few good pictures yesterday!
When it warms up,
I will have many.
My babies are all getting big!

It rained...and, then

We've been frozen ever since we got a tiny amount of rain Saturday morning. It's been colder than a witches freezer. The chickens hate it. I hate it. And, today it was very windy so yesterday's water was still frozen...as was the water from two days ago. It's a great time to be a baby chick. But, tonight is supposed to freeze again.
Thank God, for Momma's wing!
